CWG Ataraxia Under The Gavel Chardonnay 2020

Ataraxia Wine by Kevin Grant Kevin Grant, originally from Blantyre, Malawi, and educated in Cape Town, is a renowned winemaker with a BSc in zoology and a diploma in Cellar Technology. After working at top estates and studying winemaking globally, he launched Ataraxia in 2004. Located in Hemel-en-Aarde, Ataraxia produces hand-crafted wines like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a red blend named 'Serenity'. This wine is sourced from a single, organically grown, cool, south-facing vineyard. Made using a traditional method, the fruit is vigorously worked, and the juice is aerated to a deep ebony color. Fermented in custom Burgundian barrels, the wine aged for 10 months before bottling.
