It is composed of 80% Touriga Nacional, 10% Touriga Franca, 6% Souzão, and 4% Tinta Barocca, all sourced from the Western Cape. After maturing for 12 months in seasoned barrels, the wine boasts a deep purplish-red hue. The aroma is rich with notes of ripe plums, sweet spices, prunes, and anise. On the palate, you'll find a luxurious blend of dark plums, spices, and black fruits, with a subtle hint of bark, culminating in a medium-plus to long finish. With only 60 cases produced and 36 auctioned in 2018, this wine is a rare find. Best enjoyed between 2018 and 2040, it has been awarded a rating of 93 points.
