Columella er en vin skabt af Swartlands terroir med minimal manipulation. Druerne inkluderer Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault og Tinta Barocca fra Swartlands ældste vinmarker. Druerne plukkes ved perfekt modenhed og sorteres nøje, før de presses i en gammel kurvepresse. De gærer naturligt i åbne egetræskar og lagrer 20-24 måneder i franske egetræsfade uden filtrering. Columella åbner langsomt i glasset med nuancer af lys rød bærfrugt, provencekrydderier og blomster. På tungen er vinen silkeblød med en elegance og renhed, der minder om de største vine fra Bourgogne. Vi anbefaler at ilte vinen 2-3 timer før servering ved 15-16 grader.
