Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2012 i gaveæske
Louis Roederer's Cristal Rosé 2012 is a prestigious champagne crafted exclusively in exceptional years. This vintage is composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, aged for 7 years, resulting in a rich and intricate flavor profile with a potential to age for over 25 years.
The 2012 vintage was marked by fruitful and harmonious conditions, providing ideal growth for the grapes. The grapes for Cristal 2012 are sourced from 8-10 of the finest Cru vineyards owned by Louis Roederer. To achieve its exquisite color, a "skin maceration" process is used, where the Pinot Noir skins are left in contact with the juice before pressing. These grapes come from some of the estate's oldest vines, ensuring a high concentration of aromas.
Cristal Rosé displays a salmon hue with golden highlights and offers an aroma of red berries. The palate reveals flavors of cherries, plums, and almonds, with a smooth and lingering finish. This wine is distinguished by its fruitiness, depth, elegance, and finesse.
Originally created for the Russian Tsar Alexander, Cristal was once reserved for royalty. Today, it is available to all champagne enthusiasts, yet it remains highly exclusive with a limited production of approximately 200,000 bottles annually, which does not meet the high demand.
