Louis Roederer Cristal 2009 Magnum i gaveæske
Louis Roederer's Cristal is a prestigious champagne crafted exclusively in exceptional years. The 2009 vintage is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, aged for 7 years to develop a rich and intricate flavor profile, with the potential to age gracefully for over 25 years. The grapes for Cristal 2009 are sourced from approximately 10 of the finest Cru vineyards, cultivated using biodynamic methods. Around 15% of the wine undergoes fermentation in oak barrels without malolactic fermentation. It is aged in magnum bottles for a minimum of 6 years and receives a dosage of 7.5 grams per liter. Following disgorgement, the wine is matured for an additional 8 months before release. Cristal 2009 boasts a golden hue with amber highlights. Originally created for the Russian Tsar Alexander, Cristal is now available to champagne enthusiasts worldwide. With an annual production of only about 200,000 bottles, demand often exceeds supply.
