Ved at slynge vinen i glasset kan man bemærke en perfekt balance, da vinen hverken virker vandet, sirupsagtig eller likøragtig langs glassets vægge. I næsen afslører denne Château Grand Puy Lacoste rødvin noter af solbær, brombær, morbær og blåbær. Som om det ikke allerede var imponerende, tilføjes yderligere aromaer af peberkagekrydderi, sort te og vanilje. På ganen åbner 5ème Cru Classé Pauillac fra Château Grand Puy Lacoste vidunderligt aromatisk, frugtagtig og balanceret.
