Vinkammeret
Château Palmer 2008 er en af de bedste årgange ifølge Robert Parker. Vinen har en dyb lilla farve og rige noter af stegt kød, brombær, creme de cassis, toast, røg og kamfer. Den består af 53% Cabernet Sauvignon og 47% Merlot, og kun 50% af produktionen blev brugt til denne årgang. Vinen er fyldig med sødere tanniner og forventes at være moden mellem 2008 og 2030. Château Palmer, etableret i 1814 af den engelske general Charles Palmer, er kendt for at konkurrere med Château Margaux. Siden 1960'erne har de produceret vine af høj kvalitet, og med Thomas Duroux som manager siden 2006, er kvaliteten yderligere forbedret. Siden 2008 har Château Palmer været fuldt omlagt til biodynamisk produktion og blev certificeret i 2017. De har overgået mange andre topvine i Bordeaux og er kendt for deres maskuline og lagringsværdige vine.
